Twinkle Toes Birthday

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 6/1/15. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Jennifer L. Nilsson. You need a license to use her artwork. You can find her tubes at The Doodle Garden HERE.

Snags of this tag will be available on The Doodle Garden Blog

Supplies Needed:
1 tube and image of choice from the same artist
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using Birthday Fun FTU by Tasha's Playground)
MPM_mask102 by Millie's PSP Madness
Fonts of choice (I'm using OmniBlack and BlackJack)

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.
New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

On mask layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, copy & paste image as a new layer and place to your liking, duplicate several times placing throughout the mask, selections, invert, delete on each image layer, select none, merge the image layers visible, drop opacity.

Copy & Paste frame01 as a new layer, place in the center, resize if needed.

Copy & Paste e14 (blue streamer confetti) and e19 as a new layer, resize if needed and place below frame.

Add e11 and e16 to your canvas, resizing to your liking, see my tag for placement.

Now add e21 (purple leaves) as a new layer, resize to your liking and place toward bottom left, see my tag, duplicate, free rotate 90 degrees to the right and place this layer to the right of the canvas, again see my tag.

Now you can add the buttons, balloons and cake, resizing each to your liking and place to the right of the canvas.

Now your tube, resize if needed, duplicate, adjust, blur, Gaussian blur on duplicate layer, play around with the settings, keeping them very low of course, change the blend mode to overlay and then drop the opacity a bit, merge down.

Now it's time to merge all layers, crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.
I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
