Autumn Owl

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 5/25/15. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Jennifer L. Nilsson. You need a license to use her artwork. You can find her tubes at The Doodle Garden HERE.

Snags available HERE

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using FTU Autumn by Kittz Kreationz)
Font of choice (I'm using DJB I love me some)
Mask of choice (I'm using one by Dangerously Delicious Designs)

This tut, as all of my tuts, is to be used as a guide. You can use any kit you'd like. It doesn't have to be this exact one. If you have this kit then great. If not...no big deal...use something else. Be creative!

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.
New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Add A-8 (leaf doodle) as a new layer, place upward and to the right.

Add A-40 (flowers) as a new layer, place upward and to the left.

Add A-56 (green ivy) as a new layer, place in center of canvas, resize to your liking, see my tag for example.

Add A-4 (umbrella) as a new layer, place to the right, below green ivy, resize to your liking.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, place as top layer, resize if needed, add drop shadow.

Add A-13 (sunflower) as a new layer, place to the left corner of tube, see my tag.

Add pumpkins and resize to your liking, see my tag for placement.
Go back and add a slight drop shadow to each layer, if you haven't already.

Now it's time to merge all layers, crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.
I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
