Love Katherine

Love Katherine
This tutorial was written by Jenny on July 23, 2013. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Bits N Bobs. You need a license to use her artwork. You can find her tubes at PicsForDesign (PFD).

This is a fabulous tube with many layers. I loved working with it!

Supplies Needed:

1 tube of choice

Mask of choice (I'm using gemsmask21)

Scrapkit of Choice (I'm using Created by Jill L'Amour Add On)
*I purchased this Add On when she was with Sophisti-Scraps. I'm not sure that this kit is available anywhere now. However, here is a link to a similar blog train-you may be able to find a similar kit still available or use your own.*

Font of choice- I'm using Penabico

This tut, as all of my tuts, is to be used as a guide. You can use any kit you'd like. It doesn't have to be this exact one. If you have this kit then great. If not...no big deal...use something else. Be creative!

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.
New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste  paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Add frame of choice, resize to your liking.

Add another paper of choice, place below frame, resize if needed, use selection tool to remove any excess from the frame.

Add some leaves and resize to your liking, place below but upwards of the frame and paper.

Now select the frame, that should be your top layer right now.

Add flowers and place to the right of the frame, resize if needed and add drop shadow, duplicate, image, mirror.

Add more leaves toward the bottom of the frame, resize if needed and add drop shadow, duplicate, image, mirror.

Add a rose or flower of choice, resize to  your liking, duplicate several times and place throughout your creation, see my tag.

Add ribbon toward the bottom, resize if needed.

Add any other flowers you'd like to add and arrange accordingly.

Add bows to the frame, resize to your liking.

If you have some bubbles or sparkles add those too.

I also added a couple of hearts and placed to my liking.

Add your tube (I arranged mine so that it is sitting on one of the hearts), resize if needed, add drop shadow.

Now it's time to merge all layers, crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.
I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
