Sapphire Dreams

 Sapphire Dreams
This tutorial was written by Jenny on June 22, 2013. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Kathy Cyr. You need a license to use her artwork. You can find her tubes at Cloud9Ink.

Supplies Needed:
1 Tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice
(I'm using a FTU Scrapkit by Dark Yarrow "Sapphire" found at Digital Chaos)
Font of choice (I'm using SassyFrass)
Mask of choice (I'm using WSL_Mask223 by Weescotslass)

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask, move masked layer to the right lower corner (see my tag).

Add frame of choice, resize to your liking, place upward to the left.

Add cardboard of choice, resize to your liking, place above the mask layer and to the left, see my tag.

Add paper of choice, place below frame, use selection tool to select around frame, invert, delete, select none.

Add flowers of choice, resize and add drop shadow, place them to stick out from below the frame, upper right corner.

Add bling doodles, place below the paper layer, resize to your liking.

Add another bling doodle of choice, resize to your liking, place above frame, you may want to flip or mirror or both..just play around till you find something you like.

Add ribbon above that layer, resize and place to your liking.

Add a few more flowers of choice and arrange toward the bottom left of the canvas, resizing as needed and drop shadow.

Add and resize Gem and place upward right corner of frame.

Add tube above that layer, resize if needed and add drop shadow.

Add and resize dragonfly, place to your liking.

Now it's time to merge all layers, crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
