Witch In Training

 Witch In Training
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 9/26/2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Alehandra Vanhek. You can purchase this tube at PicsForDesign (PFD).

Supplies Needed:
2 tubes of choice from same artist
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using Witching Hour FTU by A Taggers Scrap)
WSL_Mask223 by Weescotslass (Download links to the right on her blog)
Template 40 by Millie's PSP Madness
Font of choice (I'm using debjagged)

Open template, hide credits, shift d to duplicate, close original.

Unhide background layer.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Add cobweb, resize to your liking.

Add starlight, resize to your liking.

Add moon, resize to your liking, place upward and to the right.

Select 1, selections, float, defloat, copy & paste nightskybackground as a new layer, selections, invert, delete, select none, hide original.

Select 2, repeat using paper4.

Select 3, repeat using paper2.

Select 4, repeat using paper3.

Select 5, repeat using nightskybackground.

Place tree layer next and move below the new 5, place to the left.

Back on the new 5, add tube of choice, resize if needed, rotate if you'd like, use selection tool to select around top portion, right click, promote selection to layer, move to top, select none, use eraser to remove any excess tube layer from the bottom.

Select 6, selections, select all, float, defloat, new raster layer, flood fill with color of choice, select none, add noise if you'd like, hide original. Go back and add a slight drop shadow too.

Select 7, repeat same from 4 steps back (beginning with Select 5)

Repeat the same step you did with your first tube with your second one, placing it opposite.

Select 8 and repeat same for "Select 6".

I placed all my wordart to one side (the right), selected each, selections, float, defloat, new raster layer and flood filled each with a color of my choice, select none, hide original. Then I went back, select each one, selections, float, defloat, modify, expand by 2, new raster layer, flood fill with white or black, moved below each layer, select none then added drop shadow to each.

Add lavender to the left side, resize to your liking.

Add white daisy, resize to your liking, place to the left, see my tag.

Add trunk, resize to your liking, place upfront there on the left.

Add candle and butterfly resizing each to your liking and place accordingly.

Now it's time to crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
