Broom Rides

 Broom Rides
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 9/26/2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Alex Prihodko. You can purchase this tube at PicsForDesign (PFD).

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using The Witching Hour FTU by Created by Jill)
This kit is no longer available so please use kit of choice if you don't already have this one.
Template 63 by Millie's PSP Madness
WSL Mask302 by Weescotslass
Font of choice (I'm using Inspiration)

Open template, hide credits and stars, unhide background, shift d to duplicate, close original.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Select 1, selections, float, defloat, copy & paste paper of choice (3) as a new layer, selections, invert, delete, select none, hide original.

Repeat on 2 using another paper of choice (1).

Repeat on 3 using same paper as above.

Repeat on 4 using another paper of choice (4).

Repeat on 6 using another paper of choice (2).

Repeat on 7 using same from 6.

Repeat on 8 and 9 using same from 4.

Repeat on 10 using same from 1.

Now back on original hidden 10 layer, select, add stitches or a doodle, resize to your liking.

Add moon, resize to your liking, place upward and to the left.

Select new 10 layer, selections, float, defloat, modify, expand by 3, new raster layer, flood fill with white, move below, select none, add noise.

Add close up mirrored tube above new 10 layer, back on old 10 layer, selections, float, defloat, selections, invert, delete on tube layer, select none, drop opacity to 75% or so.

Add grass, place toward the bottom left.

Add bow, placing toward the top, see my tag.

Add tube, resize if needed, place toward the right, add drop shadow.

Add bats placing to the left, resize if needed.

Add flower, resize if needed, place to the right by tube.

On word art, selections, select all, float, defloat, new raster layer, flood fill with color of choice, select none, add noise, hide original. Now back on it, selections, select all, float, defloat, modify, expand by 2, new raster layer, flood fill with black, move below, select none, add drop shadow.

Add pumpkin, resize if needed, place next to flower.

Now it's time to crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
