Be Scary

Be Scary
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 9/26/2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Eugene Rzhevskii. This is an Exclusive tube that can be purchased at PicsForDesign (PFD).

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using Hocus Pocus FTU by Chaney Jo)
This was a FTU kit when I downloaded it. It appears to no longer be available so please use scrapkit of choice if you don't have this kit.
WSL Mask220 by Weescotslass
Template 64 by Millie's PSP Madness
Font of choice (I'm using debhandwriting)

Open template, hide credits, shift d to duplicate, close original.

Unhide background if it's hidden.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Create a gradient using 2 colors from your tube or kit.

Select 1, selections, float, defloat, new raster layer, flood fill with gradient, select none, add some noise, hide original.

Select 2, repeat same step above without noise and using paper 11.

Select 3, repeat again using one of the dotted papers of choice.

Select 4, repeat again using paper12. (I resized the paper a bit before deleting)

Select 5, repeat using paper 6.

Go back to original layer 5 and add the following:
dead tree to the left side (resize if needed), duplicate, mirror.
glitterbats of choice (resize if needed) place upward to the top right.

Now select on your new 5 layer.

Add close up of tube, mirror, position to your liking, go back to hidden 5 layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, selections, invert, delete on tube layer, select none, drop opacity to around 50 % or so.

Select 6, selections, select all, float, defloat, new raster layer, flood fill with color of choice, select none, add noise, add drop shadow, hide original.

Select 7, selections, float, defloat, copy & paste another dotted paper of choice as a new layer, selections, invert, delete, select none, hide original.

Repeat on 8 using paper 13.

Add a couple of flowers, resize to your liking and place toward the bottom.

Add bow of choice to top corner of frame, resize and rotate to your liking.

Add tube and place to your liking, resize if needed, add drop shadow.

Add a couple of diamonds of choice, resize to your liking and place with the flowers.

Wordart layers should be the top layers.

Select the word art, selections, float, defloat, new raster layer and flood fill each with color of choice, select none, hide original. Go back select each, selections, select all, float, defloat, modify, expand by 2, new raster layer, flood fill with black, move below, select none, add drop shadow.

Now it's time to crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
