Faith Survivor

Faith Survivor
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 9/21/2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using a FTU licensed image by Ralf Straaberg. You can grab the freebie from Dreamscape Imaging (DSI).

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using FTU Check Your ChiChis by Tasha's Playground)
Mask14 by Brutal Designs
Font of choice (I'm using FG Dorotea)

Open a new canvas 800 x 800 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask. I added some noise to my mask layer.

Add frame01

Add paper of choice, place below frame, add tube, duplicate and place both to your liking, use magic wand to select inside the frame, selections, modify, expand by 4, selections, invert, delete on paper and delete on tube layers, select none, merge the tube layers together. I also used a texture above the tube layers and played around with the settings. Feel free to create your own effect.  Add drop shadow to frame.

Add tube again and place above frame and to the right, resize if needed, duplicate, right click and change the blend mode to soft light. Go back and add drop shadow to bottom layer tube.

Add keyboard, placing above tube layers and toward bottom, resize to your liking, add drop shadow.

Add hearts2, resize to your liking, place to the right next to your tube, duplicate, free rotate the duplicate just a bit to your liking, see my tag for placement.

Add flower2, place toward bottom right, see my tag, above hearts2, resize to your liking, add drop shadow, duplicate, resize again, mirror, flip, see my tag.

Add heart above first flower2 layer, resize to your liking, duplicate, resize again, place above duplicate flower2 layer, see my tag.

Add flair of choice and butterfly, resize and place to your liking.

Now it's time to crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
