Summer Waves

Summer Waves
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 7/31/2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Zlata_M. This tube is a Bonus tube available at PicsForDesign (PFD).

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using FTU by AngelsDesignz SummerWaves)
Font of choice (I'm using Christopher Hand)
WSL_Mask260 by Weescotslass

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste a paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask, duplicate.

Image, canvas size 800 x 800 and flood fill any empty space with white.

Add frame2

Add paper of choice, move below frame, use selection tool to remove any excess paper.

Add bubbles on top of paper layer.

Add sand, resize if needed, place toward bottom of frame on paper layer.

Same with grass placing it below sand but above paper layer.

Repeat with kelp placing it upward and to the right inside of frame.

Add water place below kelp layer, resize if needed.

Now select frame layer.

Add fruit, mirror and place to the left bottom of frame.

Add sponge place with fruit.

Add string to top of frame, resize if needed.

Same with starfish, mirror.

Add butterfly to the left side of the frame.

Add tube, resize if needed, add drop shadow and place to your liking.

Add cattails and flowers of choice and place above mask layer, see my tag for placement.

Now it's time to crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
