Summer Fun

Summer Fun
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 7/31/2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Aivelin. This tube is a bonus tube from PicsForDesign (PFD).

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using FTU Summer Fun by Grunge and Glitter Scraps)
Font of choice (I'm using Inspiration)
DBV Mask 111 by Designs by Vaybs

Open a new canvas 650 x 600 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Copy & Paste frame 02 as a new layer, resize 65%.

Copy & Paste paper of choice as a new layer, place below frame, use magic wand to select inside frame, selections, modify, expand by 4, selections, invert, delete on paper layer, keep selected, add grass and place toward the bottom, hit delete, paste tube as a new layer, place to your liking, duplicate and place toward the right, click delete on both, select none, drop opacity to 50%, merge these layers visible, duplicate twice moving one to the upper right and one to the lower left, apply a blur of choice on each.

Add frame 1 and resize to your liking then place in between the original merged layer and the duplicate left layer.

Now select your very top layer.

Add pool, resize if needed, place lower left.

Add flamingo, resize to your liking, place to the right, duplicate, resize, arrange to your liking.

Add flower and stringbow of choice and apply to original merged frame layer, resize to your liking, see my tag for details.

Add tube, resize if needed, place next to pool, add drop shadow.

Now it's time to crop down your tag, resize if needed.

Add copyright/licensing info and text and you're ready to save.
Be sure to save a blank for future use.

If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG layer be sure to hide the white background layer first.

I hope you've enjoyed my new tutorial. Please show your appreciation by leaving some love in my C-Box and/or voting for me at 1Award (link to the right). I'd love to see your results.
