This tutorial was written by Jenny on 6-5-2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Ellie_Milk. This tube was the June gift for loyal customers at PicsForDesign (PFD). Please do not use the same tube unless you have a license to do so.
1 close up tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using Serenade in Blue FTU by A Space Between)
Font of choice (I'm using Haikus Script)
Mask of choice (I'm using Kirsty07_MaskNewDec-7 by Kirstys Scraps)
*Please note that I was unable to find this mask on her new blog so if you don't already have it you may need to use another mask of your choosing. Be sure to stop by and visit her blog though as she has lots of goodies.
Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.
Open paper of choice copy.
Back to working canvas, new raster layer, select with magic wand, paste paper into selection, select none, apply mask. I added some noise to mine. Of course, that's up to you ;)
Copy & Paste element54 as a new layer, using your magic wand select inside of the frame, selections, modify, expand by 4, selections, invert, copy & paste another paper of choice as a new layer, resize if needed, then click delete, select none, move paper below frame.
Copy & Paste tube as a new layer, resize if needed, place to your liking, if you'd like to do it like mine then place it below your frame, duplicate, bring duplicate to the top and hide, select inside the frame with magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 4, selections, invert, delete on original tube layer, select none, unhide duplicate, use the eraser tool to remove an excess you don't need, go back and add drop shadow to original.
Copy & Paste element62 as a new layer, resize 65%, place above mask layer, upper right corner, duplicate, mirror, flip.
Copy & Paste element29 as a new layer, mirror, add drop shadow, make sure it's placed above element62 layer, see my tag for placement, duplicate, move over just a bit to the left.
Copy & Paste element39 as a new layer, flip, resize 65%, place upper left corner above the previous layers, add drop shadow.
Add button, flowers, lace, greenery, ect and resize to your liking, place above all other layers and down toward the bottom of the frame, position to your liking.
Crop or resize tag to your liking.
If you'd like to save as a transparent PNG then close off the white background layer.
Be sure to add proper copyright and licensing info.
Add your name or text.
Now you're ready to save.
Here's the same tag but with some wordart from Creative Misfits Creations.
Here's another example using the licensed artwork of Zindy S. D. Nielsen
