Memories Fly

Memories Fly

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 6-6-2012. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the licensed artwork of Helena Reis. You need a license to use her artwork. I am licensed to this tube through Dreamscape Imaging (DSI). Please don't use the same tube unless you have a license to do so.

Supplies Need:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using Serenade in Blue FTU by A Space Between)
*Thank You*
Mask of choice (I'm using gemsmask-72)
Font of choice (I'm using InkInTheMeat-Tial)

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, open up paper of choice, copy & paste into selection, select none, apply mask.

Copy & Paste element26 (white frame) as a new layer, resize 85%.

Using the magic wand select inside the frame, selections, modify, expand by 3, copy & paste another paper of choice as a new layer, resize if needed, selections, invert, delete, select none, move below frame.

Copy & Paste your tube as a new layer, place below frame, duplicate and move above frame then hide, select inside with magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 3, selections, invert, delete on original tube layer, select none. On duplicate layer use eraser tool to remove any excess not needed. Go back and add a slight drop shadow to the original tube layer.

You're now going to need to open the following supplies from the kit:
For your tag to turn out like mine then please add them in the order they are listed, working from the bottom up, above the frame, resize to your liking, see my tag for placement.

element29
element39 (will need to be flipped)
element4
element20
element64
element2
element35
element15
element25
element17 (rotated a bit to the left)

Resize canvas if needed.

Add copyright and licensing info.

Now on to your text.

If you want to save as a transpaernt PNG then be sure to close off your white background layer before saving.

Here's another example using the licensed artwork of Zindy S. D. Nielsen
