You're A Good Catch

You're A Good Catch
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 5/22/2011. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the artwork of Christina Lynn Myers. You need a license to use her artwork. I have a license through MyTagArt.
Please check her site for new licensing information.

In the example at the end of this tut I'm using licensed artwork of Hannah Lynn. You need a license to use her artwork. I am licensed through MyTagArt.
You can now purchase her tubes at Creative Design Outlet.

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using Gone Fishin by NitWit Collections- It is PTU)
Font of choice (I'm using BlackJack)
Aqua & Cakes Starter1 Template HERE
gemsmask-72 HERE

I'm assuming that you're using the same kit as I am but please understand that you should be able to complete this tut using any scrapkit you have.
If using the same kit as I am you will notice the kit is large as it's a full size kit. When I say resize, in most cases I have resized 50, 50, 65 each time.

Open template, hide credits and wordart, shift d to duplicate and close original.
Unhide background layer.

New Raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste water paper into selection, select none, apply mask.

Select Raster 7, selections, select all, float, defloat, copy & paste fish paper of choice as a new layer, resize, selections, invert, delete, select none, hide original.

Repeat on the following layers using a different paper of choice each time:
Raster8
Raster4
Copy of Raster4
Raster3
Raster9

Recolor Raster 5 and Raster10 to match your supplies

Copy & Paste your tube of choice as a new layer, resize if needed, add drop shadow and place to the left, see my tag.

Now either duplicate that layer or copy & paste another tube of choice as a new layer, mirror, place on the new Raster9 layer, select old raster9 layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, invert, delete on tube layer, select none, recolor tube one color of choice, now merge these 3 layers together, move to the top of the canvas, resize 75%.

Copy & Paste rope hook frame as a new layer, resize, place below the above layer, add drop shadow.

Add string bow, resize and place to your liking.

Add phrase of choice, place at the bottom of your main tube, resize, add drop shadow.

Now add any other accessories you'd like, resize and arrange next to the framed tube on the right.

Add bubbles, water splash and such and arrange to your liking.

Resize or crop down the canvas to your desire.

Add copyright info and text and you're now ready to save.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Please be sure to leave some love!
