Fairy Clover


Fairy Clover
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 2/20/11. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the artwork of Katerina Koukiotis. I have a license from Dreamscape Imaging to use her artwork. Please check her site (link above) for new purchase options.

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using PTU Clover Art Kit by KatNKDA)
StPattiesDayMask1 by Jenny HERE
Font of choice (I'm using Lindsay Unicial)

Open new canvas 650 x 650 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste Paper18 into selection, select none, apply mask.

Copy & Paste element22 (circle frame) as a new layer, resize 70%.

Copy & Paste element25 (clover frame) as a new layer, place on top of previous frame layer, resize 70%.

Copy & Paste element37 as a new layer, place toward the bottom of the frames, add drop shadow of choice.

Copy & Paste Paper 17 as a new layer, resize 50%, place below frame layers.
Copy & Paste tube of choice as a new layer, resize if needed, use the selection tool to selection the top portion of the tube if you'd like it sticking out from the frame, right click, promote selection to layer, move to top, select none. Use the magic wand to select inside element22 (circle frame), selections, modify, expand 5, selections, invert, delete on paper layer, delete on original tube layer, select none.

Select the top layer of your canvas.

Copy & Paste element29 (pot of gold) as a new layer, place to the left, resize 50%. Move element37 to the top.

Copy & Paste element15 (yellowish ribbon) as a new layer, resize 50%, place to the left, below the promoted tube seletion.

Copy & Paste element05 (jewel) as a new layer, resize 50%, place upon ribbon, resize 50%, free rotate 25 degrees left.

Back on your mask layer add some noise.

Resize canvas if you'd like.

Add copyright info and text and you're ready to save.
