Dragonfly


Dragonfly
This tutorial was written by Jenny on 2-10-2010. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the artwork of Jennifer L. Nilsson. You need a license to use her artwork. I have a license through MyTagArt.

Supplies Needed:
1 tube and image of choice (from same artist)
Missy_Rachel_Collab_Template5 by Missy & Rachel
Mask of choice (I'm using one by Becky)
Font of choice (I'm using Elise)

Open template, hide credits, wordart and text, shift d to duplicate, close original.

Image, rotate clockwise 90 degrees.

Image, canvas size, width 600 and height 818.

Flood fill raster1 with white, new raster layer, flood fill with a gradient ( a mixture of 2 colors that match your tube), apply mask.

Use the change to target brush and recolor the brush and stars.

Select the background layer, selections,select all, float, defloat, copy & paste image as a new layer, resize to your liking, selections,invert,delete, select none, mirror, position under the frame appropriately, drop opacity down to 75.

Select rectangle, selections, select all, float, defloat, new raster layer, flood fill with a color that matches your tube, select none, apply some noise.

Select rectangle2, selections,select all, float, defloat, new raster layer, flood fill with another color of choice, select none, apply some noise, hide original layer.

Add drop shadow to frame.

Select bottom part of "background" layer with magic wand, new raster layer, flood fill with the same color as above, select none.

Copy & Paste tube as a new layer, resize if needed, duplicate, on original layer go to effects, distortion effects, wind from right 50.

Now you can crop down the canvas.

Add copyright info and text and you are now ready to save. Thank you for trying my tut.
