Time For A Change

Time for a Change

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 01-01-2010. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac. You need a license to use his artwork. I am licensed through Artistic Minds Inc.
You can now purchase his tubes HERE.

Supplies Needed:
1 tube of choice
Scrapkit of choice (I'm using A New Beginning by Bits N Bobs)
Mask of choice (I'm using one by Becky)
Font of choice (I'm using Cafe Rojo and Eight Fifteen)

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper7 into selection, select none, apply mask.

Copy & Paste frame6 as a new layer, add a subtle drop shadow.

Copy & Paste tube as a new layer, resize if needed, place below frame, use your selection tool to select any of the tube you want sticking out from the frame, right click, promotion selection to layer, move to the top, select none. Then use the selection tool to trace around the bottom of the wire then hit delete on the tube layer to remove any excess sticking out from the frame.

Copy & Paste balloon of choice as a new layer, resize 65%, place in the top right corner of the frame, add drop shadow.

Copy & Paste element 1 (black bow with watch) as a new layer, resize 65%, place above bow that is already on the frame but below your promoted layer, add drop shadow.

Copy & Paste element 31 as a new layer, add drop shadow, place to your liking.

Copy & Paste element 40 (musical notes) as a new layer, resize 65%, add drop shadow, place toward the bottom of the frame.

Copy & Paste element 57 (mask) as a new layer, resize 50%, add drop shadow, place toward bottom right of the frame, free rotate 15 degrees right.

Copy & Paste element 52 as a new layer, place below frame upper right, add drop shadow.

Copy & Paste Paper5 as a new layer, resize 50%, place above mask layer, free rotate 15 degrees left.

Now you are ready to resize the canvas if you'd like. Add copyright info and text and you are ready to save.
