Love Is In The Air

Love Is In The Air

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 01/15/2010. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the artwork of Sally Gilroy. You need a license to use her artwork. I have a license through MyTagArt.
You can now purchase her tubes through Scraps N Crap.

Supplies Needed:
1-2 Tubes of choice (from the same artist)
Sweetheart's Dance PTU Scrapkit by Sally Gilroy
(licensed through MyTagArt and no longer available)
Yvette_EOC_Template94 by Yvette at Essence of Creativity
WSL_Mask260 by Weescotslass
Font of choice (I'm using LMS School Girl Crush and Christopherhand)

Open template, hide credits, shift d to duplicate, close original.

Unhide the background layer, new raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste Paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Select black circle with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice as a new layer, resize if needed, selections, invert, delete, select none, hide original.

Select white half with magic wand, copy & paste another paper of choice as a new layer, resize if needed, selections, invert, delete, select none, hide original.

Repeat on Pink half changing the paper.

Repeat again on Pink rectangle, thin black rectangle and Pink circles changing the paper each time.

Use the change to target brush to recolor the words and hearts to match your scrapkit or tube.

Copy & Paste doodle, resize if needed, move below all layers but above mask, add drop shadow, duplicate, mirror.

Select the very top layer.

Copy & Paste tube(s) as a new layer, resize if needed, add drop shadow.

Now you can adorn your tag with roses, hearts, letters, bows, ribbons, candles and butterflies, resizing as needing. You can place to your liking or see my tag for placement. Add a subtle drop shadow to each. I rotated the roses just a bit to get the arrangement I have.

Now is the time to resize or crop the canvas. Add copyright info and text and you are ready to save.

I appreciate you stopping by to try my tuts. Remember a little love can last a life time.
Drop off some in my CBox!
