And To All A Good Night

And To All A Good Night

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 11/12/2009. Resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac. You need a license to use his artwork. I am licensed through Artistic Minds Inc.
You can now purchase his tubes HERE.

Supplies Needed:
1 Tube of choice
Traditional XMas FTU Scrapkit by Bluedream Designs
WSL_Mask238 by Weescotslass
Font of choice (I'm using CCFrostbite)

Open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill white. We'll resize later.

New raster layer, select with magic wand, copy & paste paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

Copy & Paste frame2 as a new layer, resize 85%, add drop shadow.

Copy & Paste another paper of choice as a new layer, place below frame, resize 85%, use the selection tool to trace around the frame, selections, invert, delete on paper layer, select none.

Copy & Paste tube as a new layer, move below frame, position to your desire, you can now use the selection tool and select any part of the head you want above the frame, right click, promote to layer, move to the top, select none, now use the selection tool to trace around the frame again, selections, invert, delete on the original tube layer, select none.

Copy & Paste flower5 as a new layer, place to the left of the frame, resize 85%, add drop shadow of choice.

Copy & Paste ornament of choice, resize 50% then again 65%, add drop shadow and place on the bow on the frame. Do this several times using different ornaments and free rotate them left and right to blend.

Copy & Paste tree as a new layer, resize 75%, add drop shadow, place to the right.

Copy & Paste wreath1 as a new layer, place it right above the mask layer.

Copy & Paste flower3 as a new layer, place below frame and top right, resize 50%, add drop shadow.

Copy & Paste Wreath3 as a new layer, place below wreath1 layer, add drop shadow, move over to the left just a bit.

Crop your canvas or resize if you so desire.

Add copyright info, text, anything else you'd like and it is now time to save.

Thank you for trying my tutorial. I'd love to see your results!
