My Doggie & Me

My Doggie & Me

This tutorial was written by Jenny on 6-18-08. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional. I am using the wonderful artwork of Suzanne Woolcott for this tut. You must have a license to use her work. I purchased mine through AMI. You can now purchase Suzanne's Tubes HERE.

*please note that my tutorials are not to be sold, copied or profited from in any way.
Supplies Needed:

Suzanne Woolcott buried treasure tube
(you can use different tubes if you don't have this one)
Happy Garden Scrapkit by Missy
(you can download from misfits scrapz blog here)
Font of choice (I used Scrap Casual, sorry I can not supply)

Open a new canvas 650 x550 (you can resize later). Flood fill white.
Set your foreground to one of the papers in the kit and background null. Using your preset tool, set on ellipse, width at 22 draw out a circle, objects, align, center.
Using your magic wand select inside the circle, selections, modify, 10. Copy and paste a paper as a new layer, selections, invert, delete. Move the paper below the circle.
Now back on your preset circle, add a drop shadow then merge down. Copy and paste the fence as a new layer and resize so that it's directly infront of the circle (you may need to move your circle up a bit).
Add a drop shadow to the fence. Copy and paste the grass layer, move below the fence layer, crop as needed, add a drop shadow, duplicate that layer, move that layer up just a bit, merge the grass layers together.
Copy and paste a ribbon of choice infront of the fence and crop as needed, add drop shadow.
Copy and paste your tube and place infront of the fence, add drop shadow.
Copy and paste each dog as a new layer, move the layers below the grass layer but above the circle layer, add a drop shadow, arrange them as desired (see my tag ). Merge visible. Resize if needed.
Add copyrights and tagger info, your name and You're done!

I'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for trying my tut!
