My Daddy And Me

My Daddy and Me

This tut was written by Jenny on 6-14-08. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is unintentional and purely coincidental. I am using the beautiful artwork of Suzanne Woolcott. You must purchase a license before using any of her work. You can do so here. Mine was purchased through AMI. Photo is a freebie from Karen Garnett. You can view her outstanding photos HERE.

*please note that my tutorials are not to be sold, copied or profited from in any way.
No Supplies Included!

What you'll need for this tut:
2 Tubes of choice
1 Photo of choice (you can get the freebie I used HERE)
My Daddy Scrapkit (freebie can be downloaded HERE) this is a fab kit! It's a collab kit by Raspberry Road Designs and byGodsDesigns.
Mask of choice (I'm using one by Becky ...not supplied)
font used: SBC Love Mom (not supplied)

Open a new canvas 650x550. Flood fill white. Add a new raster layer, using your magic wand select and paste a paper of choice into selection, select none, apply mask.

With foreground set to matching color of choice and background set to paper of choice you will need to draw out 3 different circles (see my tag above). With the first one you will need it bigger than the rest and center it. Add a drop shadow to each and arrange the small ones to your liking.

Copy and paste the glitter globs as a new layer, resize as needed and arrange to your liking. Add embellishments that you choose and arrange to your liking. Add drop shadow.

Copy and paste My Daddy and Me frame as a new layer, resize as needed, add a drop shadow. Using your magic wand select inside the frame, selections, expand,5, copy and paste your photo as a new layer, selections, invert and with photo selected hit delete. Copy and paste your tubes of choice, resize if needed, press delete to get rid of any unwanted edges of the tubes. Merge frame, tubes and photo, image, rotate, right 15.

Copy and paste the We Love You Dad wordart, resize as needed, add a dropshadow, image, rotate, right 15. Merge visible. Add copyright info and save.

Your tag is finished. Now how about showing me what you created? Check the general for a show off thread.
